Gavin Lambert, GWTW, the Making of Gone With the Wind, Atlantic, Little, Brown. 1973; переиздание - Bantam Books, 1976; Gerald Gardner, Harriet Nodell Gardner, Pictorial History of Gone With the Wind, Bonanza Books, 1983; Roland Flamini, Scarlett, Rhett and a Cast of Thousands, New York, MacMillan, 1975; Jacques Zimmer, Autant en emporte le vent, J'ai lu, 1988. См. также коллективный том «Gone With the Wind as Book and Film», ed. Richard Harwell, University of South Caroline Press, затем - New York, Paragon House Publishers, 1987. (Gone With the Wind. The Making of the Legend, 1988), Авторская энциклопедия фильмов Жака Лурселля > Gone with the Wind
